The Raiken use a time measurement system based on the moon, so technically, it is a different time on every planet. However, the modifications of the calender make sure that each Raiken are on the same schedule.

A Rise = A rise of the moon, one day
A Cycle = A moon cycle, one month
A Quarter Cycle = This splits the cycles into four parts, one week
A Rotation = The time it takes to travel around the sun, one year
Raiken did not record years passing, they began recording time during the construction of their first city, Lunaxusa.

- 729 RA - A second civil war almost breaks out, rebels are put down by the government before it destroys the Raiconian Alliance
- 730 - 760 RA - Government strengthens it's power, but also reforms it's system from a elected single council, to three elected councils, splitting power between the three
- 813 - 928 RA - The Raiconian plague, it killed 40% of the Raiken population
- 929 - 944 RA - The RA issued edicts to encourage having children, to replace those that were lost during the plague
- 1056 RA - Government pours resources into tech and military development
- 1060 - 1135 RA - Age of Technology and Power
- 1150 RA - Resources are noticeably depleting from Oushino's crust, the government urges engineers and scientists to discover a solution for their resource crisis
- 1178 RA - Raiken begin to mine their moon, and start to create one-way ships to mine nearby asteroids, however, the government begins to look out to the stars
- 1216 RA - Raiconian Alliance starts to colonize it's moon
- 1243 RA - First Starship is built
- 1245 RA - 1375 RA - Colonization of nearby habitable planets in the Home Solar System
- 1330 RA - The first FTL engine is built
- 1467 RA - The FIR races are discovered, and quickly enslaved
- 1621 RA - The Dark Century Begins, FIR Rebellions
- 1718 RA - The Dark Century comes to a close, the FIR is established
- 1781 RA - The Sentinels Remnant is discovered, and the machines immediately attack the Raiken, this causes severe shockwaves through the church
- 1785 - 1894 RA - The Sentinels Fall Liberation War, Raiken fight the Sentinels Remnant to claim a part of space where Sentinels relics are abundant
- 1901 RA - Present - The All is War period, Sentinels Remnant and Federation of Independent Races
- 1987 RA - The Time Flux incident, Siyo Overwatch and his squad become famous
- 1993 RA - The Experimental Engine Drive is complete, however, only a Leviathan can use it, exploration to new galaxies is now a possibility

The Seasons
"Vuras Dyn" (The Seasons) Each last roughly a quarter cycle, on most temperate planets, however, desert worlds and oceanic worlds may have only one or two seasons.
(Dyn vi Tia) Season of Bounty - Where food is plenty, and all have enough to eat.
(Dyn vi Sadir) Season of Heat - Incredible heat can sometimes cause droughts, however, the heat is necessary for some plants.
(Dyn vi Siaru) Season of Rain - Rain falls almost every other day, providing water for crops, but sometimes causes floods.
(Dyn vi Sleya) Season of Frost - Usually following a season of bounty, a season of frost usually causes food shortages.
Holidays
Raiken celebrate multiple holidays, though most are related to the Sentinels, War, or their history.
"Drau Nyank" (Dark Passage) is a holiday of remembrance of the Dark Century. It is celebrated solemnly, and usually not a cheerful event, as it resulted in the defeat of the Raiken. Towards the end of the day, celebrations are held to honor the fallen, and celebrate the technological advances made during the Dark Century.
"Shyrad Aves" (Pure People) is a religious holiday of worship dedicated to the Sentinels. Celebrated by mass worship during the morning, followed by bounties of food throughout the day. It is a day dedicated to thanking the Sentinels for choosing the Raiken to be "uplifted".
"Veam vuru Rhi" (Split and Together) is a day of remembrance for the only civil war to ever happen in Raiconian History. During the first part of the day, it is a dark occasion, showing the division that was present within the Raiken people. However, the latter part of the day is celebrated with unity and friendship, to show to the unity that was shown to create the Raiconian Alliance to save their people.
"Nyank vi Sygas Cruk" (Passage of Ending Youth) is the coming of age in Raiconian society. Celebrated at age eight, fourteen, and twenty, the Nanyk vi Sygas Cruk is honored by a feast within the celebrating family. At age 8, the youth is allowed to be trained in basic swordsmanship and marksmanship. At age 14, the youth receives their first gauntlet, the key to much of the Raiconian technology. At age twenty, the new adult is considered an adult in Raiconian society, and may enlist within the military, and all other privileges that adults carry.
"Inaus vi Leru" (Showing of Power) is a military holiday in which military service members are honored. Showings of military might are common, and "Delser vi Sike" matches are held. Celebrated with food and drink, but also a rare appearance of dance and music.
"Ild Rakas vuru Risv" (Excellent Skill and Knowledge) is a celebration of those with excellent abilities and knowledge. Celebrated by showing special abilities that one may possess, may it be a style of swordsmanship, to a style of music. Many games are held to test ones knowledge of the history, technology, and about different worlds.
